Objectifs :

This course focuses on providing the skills and knowledge necessary to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small to medium-size branch office Enterprise network, including configuring switches and routers, connecting to a WAN and implementing network security.

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Review how to configure and troubleshoot a small network.
- Expand the switched network from a small LAN to a medium-sized LAN with multiple switches, supporting VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree, and troubleshoot it.
- Describe routing concepts as they apply to a medium-sized network and discuss considerations when implementing routing on the network.
- Configure, verify, and troubleshoot OSPF.
- Configure, verify, and troubleshoot EIGRP.

The course is given by an expert Proximus ICT Academy instructor, coaching delegates towards the exams during the training with real examples of CCNA questions.

Module 1: Implementing Scalable Medium-Sized Networks + Labs

Module 4: Implement a Scalable OSPF-Based Solution + Labs
- OSPF components
- Implement multiarea OSPF
- Configure and verify OSPFv3 for IPv6
- Troubleshoot multiarea OSPF

Module 5: Wide-Area Networks + Labs
- WAN topology and connectivity options
- Point-to-point protocols and configuration
- GRE tunnels

Module 6: Network Device Management + Labs
- Common access layer threat mitigation techniques

Pré-requis :


Completion of Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1(ICND1) or Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) or equivalent knowledge of and experience with the basics of networking.

- Determine how to apply ACLs based on network requirements, and to configure, verify, and troubleshoot ACLs on a medium-sized network.
- Describe when to use NAT or PAT on a medium-sized network configure and troubleshoot NAT or PAT on routers.
- Describe IPv6 features and addresses and configure IPv6 and RIPng on routers.
- Describe VPN solutions in the WAN.
- Identify and implement the appropriate WAN technology based on network requirements, PPP or Frame Relay and troubleshoot Frame Relay.
