Nokia designed an operating system, based on Unix, to run Checkpoint firewalls. This operation system is called IPSO. Nokia created also dedicated hardware platforms to run Checkpoint applications (appliances). On these appliances, you will find IPSO as operating system. This course will give all info to manage Nokia based firewalls. The scope of this course is only the operating system. If you want to learn how to manage the Checkpoint applications on this hardware, consider also to attend the course Checkpoint security administration I or Checkpoint security administration II.
